Join us for a fabulous opening to our 80th anniversary season with “A Night to Remember Gala”, featuring what is anticipated to be the piano event of the Southeast – a special CSO performance with renowned pianist Leon Fleisher. The special performance will feature Fleisher playing Ravel’s Piano Concerto for the Left Hand. Together, he and his wife, Katherine Jacobson, will perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 7 in F major for two pianos. For the second half of the concert, CSO will perform Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, “From the New World”.
The evening will kick off at 6 p.m. with a reception and silent auction preview followed by the 7 p.m. concert performance and 8 p.m. dinner with dancing, entertainment hosted by CSO Concertmaster, Yuriy Bekker, and a live/silent auction to benefit the CSO.
