MSU Opera and MSU Symphony: Ravel’s L’Enfant et les sortilèges
This fully staged production with orchestra features Ravel’s one-act fantasy opera on a text by Colette. Set to one of Ravel’s most colorful scores, L’ enfant et les sortilèges (The Child and the Magic Spells) explores themes of childhood aggression and punishment. Sung in English with English supertitles.
